Appointments & Evaluations
Initial psychiatric evaluations are comprehensive and designed to understand your history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Intake appointments typically last 60–90 minutes.
At the conclusion of your visit, we will review diagnostic impressions and discuss treatment options, which may include medication management, therapy, or a combined approach.
Initial evaluations serve as a consultation to determine whether ongoing care is appropriate. Continued treatment is not guaranteed following the first visit.
Appointments may be conducted virtually or in person. If a controlled medication is requested, the initial evaluation must be completed in person in accordance with clinical and regulatory guidelines.
Cancellation Policy
To provide timely care for all patients, we require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed appointments without notice, may be charged the full session fee.
